Perseus vs. Percy vs. Perseus no percy

I can choose from either surname due to my parents divorce so that's why it says or. I'm trans, ftm and I know this isn't made for this but I've nowhere else to ask so I just want to know how the names sound. I think I will call myself Perseus and have Percy as a nickname but I want to know what you all think.

Do you have any other names that you like? My honest opinion is that I have never liked the name Percy. It reminds me of the words Prissy and *****. I'm afraid you'd be made fun of. Perseus is better that Percy, but if that would be your nickname I would pick another name. We can all give you suggestions on different names if you'd be willing to choose something different.

Pick the nickname of the parent who is most supportive of your transition, not the one with the last name that you like most. You will feel better about your last name later if you do so. Good Luck!

I'm interested in any name suggestions. Also no my story wasn't different last time, to the person that said that, I've just been trying out a lot of different names so if it was a different name you saw, then that's what your thinking of. I'm not fake at all, that's actually really hurtful that someone would say that. I am trans and I've just been trying to find myself a new name. I had a list of like 10 names so I've been going through them one by one.

It has absolutely nothing to do with you being a trans. Absolutely nothing. You used those two names last week and said you were not sure if you were going to use your husband last name or your mom's maiden name.

No, my dads surname, Button and my mums maiden name Walmsley. They aren't officially divorced yet and so I get the option of what surname to choose. I have never had a husband and would never claim that

I like the last name Button. It's easier to say. It's easier to spell. Here are some first name suggestions with nicknames...
