Winifred vs. Winnie vs. Wynn
We love the names Winnie and Wynn, however we aren't 100% sure on Winifred because it sounds so old fashioned. If her name was Winifred we would either call her Winnie or Wynn. We don't know if Winnie sounds to childish though and when she is an adult it won't sound mature enough. We also just like the name Wynn, this way it sounds mature enough and cute for a kid... what do you think? We also like the names: Agnes and call her Aggie, Adeline and call her Andy or Clementine and call her Tiny.
The Top Baby Name is...
Winifred
Winnie
Wynn

LOVE just Winnie! I do like Wynn/Wynne too but I agree Winifred just sounds so stuffy.
I don't dislike Agnes but prefer Agatha as Agnes and Winifred are both really old-fashioned.

I really love Winnie too. I think it works on its own, although Wynn works well as her first name too. I don't like Winifred or Agnes, as both seem so old fashioned to me. Adeline (Andy) is super cute too, but Winnie or Wynn gmv. I don't think Winnie is childish at all compared to all the other little girls who will grow up with her also with more nicknamey names. Go with the name you love!

At first I wasn't sure if it made sense for the nickname to be longer than the given name but after I considered it lots of common 1 syllable names are like that(Grace/Gracie,Rose/Rosie,Anne/Annie etc.)So why not Wynn/Winnie? I like the idea of Wynn being her given name with Winnie as a nickname.I love that it gives her both options.A mature version and a cute nickname.
Winnie Cooper, was a character from the wonder years

I love Elowen with the nickname Winnie or Wynn too! Maybe Elowen Agnes, or Elowen Clementine. For Winifred I to believe it is to much, for just Winnie I would maybe do Winnie Adeline, Winnie Agnes or Winnie Clementine!

Wynn gmv. I like Winnie as a nn for Wynn.
I also will suggest the names Gwendolyn/Gwendolen nn Winnie or Gwen.
I'm not a fan of Winifred, Or Agnes. I love Adeline, but not the nn Andy or the nn Addy or the nn Adele. I do like the nns Adlie and Lemonade. I think Clementine with the nn Tiny is cute, especially if she does happen to be tiny. How i got the Lemonade nn is Adeline begins with ADE Lemonade ends with ADE, so ade makes me think of Lemonade which makes me think of Sunshine and summertime and yellow daisies and of course summertime Lemonade stands. I'm just one opinion in 7 billion on the planet. Just my 2 cents. Go with what you love and feel comfortable with. Everybody will give their perspective on things, but ultimately choose what you love and feel comfortable with.

I like Wynn and Adeline. Elowen/ Elowyn is a great suggestion. She could go by Wynn or Winnie for a nickname.
