Milena Rose and Meredith Claire vs. yes vs. no

We chose these names for our twin girls a while back, but as their due date grows closer, I am second guessing myself. What do you think of these names? Milena is pronounced Mi-lay-na, by the way. I just want to be completely sure of their names since they’ll have to live with them their whole lives. Thanks

I like Meredith, but not Milena. I don’t think it is as elegant as Meredith. How about:
Meredith and Melinda
Meredith and Melanie
Meredith and McKenna?
Just a thought...

I like Milena, but I pronounced it wrong at first. Maybe you should spell it diff. Milayna, that gives you the pronounciation you want. Both are cute names. GL

I agree with the 2nd poster. While both names are gorgeous, I also mispronounced Milena. Maybe Melaina instead? Meredith Rose and Melaina Claire flow a little better, IMO, but they are equally gorgeous as is. Good luck!

I like Meredith but not Milena. I don’t think the names go well together. I agree w/ the 1st poster Milena is not as elegant, it sounds more exotic. And like the 2nd poster, I also prn Milena wrong at first, I read it as Ma lena.

I love Milena. But maybe pronounced differently. Malaina or Malayna. I think switching the middle names. And also maybe your 2nd guessing because they both start with M’s. Maybe the should be different so they can have their own idenities.

I agree with poster 3, Melaina is a very pretty spelling. I pronounced it wrong a first. Both names are cute together.

I love Meredith and Milena. But, I like the Ma-lee-na pronunciation better than ma-lay-na. Good luck!

Meredith and Melaina does look a lot nicer together, and more elegant.
I agree about the mispronunciation. I would have said "mil-ee-na". Melaina will get you the pronunciation you want.
All in all, great names. Meredith Rose and Melaina Claire are beautiful.
