Martha is a wonderful classic! What a coincidence! Marta was my grandmother's name, so it also has a very special place in my heart, but I would personally name my daughter Martha after her.

Definitely Marta. Martha is old-fashioned, stuffy, middle-aged/old. Marta (as of the Von Trapp family) has always seemed more youthful to me.
