AnaLucia vs. Ana Lucia vs. Ana-Lucia
We love the 1st name we’ve chosen (though still not sure which spelling we are going to use) but we are at a loss for a middle name. I don’t want to split up the Ana & Lucia, as I don’t like either one "alone". Would a middle name be TOO MUCH? We’d like to possibly honor my late father who was hopeful for another grandchild...His name was Paul Erich. Would the feminine version of either name , Paula or Erica, work as a middle name? Anna Lucia looks so much better. Ana-Lucia Paulette or Pauline. Ericka doesn’t go with Ana-Lucia. Four a endings? It needs to be broken up. That’s why I suggested Paulette or Pauline.

I created this poll and for some reason the names didn’t appear properly. The "L" in Lucia should also be a capital: AnaLucia, Ana Lucia, Ana-Lucia.

I’m sorry for your loss. I agree with the first post. Ana Lucia Paulette would be cute, because Paulette means "little Paul". Good luck!!

I like AnaLucia the best. I think it sounds best with AnaLucia Paulina. AnaLucia Paula just sounds a little odd, Paula is too short for such a pretty, longer name, so I say go for AnaLucia Paulina Guevara (it’s so pretty!)

Ana Lucia Guevara is a very nice, and a long name. Why would you want to add another name to it? If you want to honor your father, why not consider Ana Pauline, or Lucia Pauline?

I do think another name will make the name awfully long.....but I understand what you are trying to do. AnaLucia spelled any way is lovely. I don’t like Paulette or Pauline as much as I do Erica, but I also see what others are saying about the flow. AnaLucia Erica Guevara....but of course, that’s only when pronouncing all three names quickly.
