I always though Bowie was Boh-ee/Beau-ed like Bodhi with a W, also like David Bowie who is known for saying his surname rhymes with Toe. That sounds the nicest to me.
My second guess at pronunciation would be Bow-ee like the name Howie or word Wow. I would never ever guess Boo-ee, that is not an attractive way to pronounce that name at all, just reminds me of a water "buoy" which is the proper way to spell "boo-ee"

Though I prefer Beau, to Bowie (Beau-ee) and Bodhi (Beau-dee) none the less.

Bowie is Beau-E/Boh-E (like Toe-E)

NOT Boo-E (like Buoy) and NOT Bow-E (like Wow-E).

I love all three choices, but only is Bowie is being pronounced right.

Bodhi is the best but it gets confusing with the spelling I thought it was Bode- Hi.

Bodhi is the best/original spelling, though Bodi, Bodie and Bodee could also work. Body is literally already a word, like a human body, what a terrible suggestion LOL

And Bode is one syllable and rhymes with road/rode. Jayleyn you literally used it to sound out "Bode-Hi", what the heck are you thinking? Body and Bode are NOT Bodhi LOL

I was just thinking that they could use other spelling. I have dyslexia so that explains why I thought it was Bode-Hi. I was thinking about Body and the spelling was bad but I didn't think much of it. Bode isn't one syllable and I know a little boy named Bode and it is pronounced just like Bodi and Bodhi.

My son's 1st grade teacher was Mrs. Bode it was pronounced Bode ee.

Bowie... are you from Texas or Maryland? Those are the only places where people pronounce Bowie correctly.
