triplet girls vs. only have vs. marlowe

Hello everyone! After 5 years of trying, the world of medicine has helped us get pregnant and we are having three girls! Throughout the struggle of getting pregnant, I didn't spend much time on names as I didn't want to get hopeful. So, the only name we like and are set on is Marlowe for one of the girls. I don't mind if the names match too much or not, but I do want similar lenghts/syllables. Thank you!

Big congrats on your sweet girlies! Marlowe is lovely. I would suggest not having matchy names. They're individuals and it can get confusing for them/others. Do you need middle names too? I suggest maybe using family names if you have any.

So as i've been reading, I think the ones calling to me so far include: Linnea, Cadence, Avalon, Tatum, Spencer, Sawyer, Mallory, Skylar, Athena, Laurel... maybe Acacia but I don't know if I think they match. I am really in love with Marlowe, and it holds great significance, but I just don't know if I should do unisex all three, or have how to balance the masc./fem in names, thank you all so much!!

Glad you are liking some! I think you should go with what you love. I think Marlowe is a name that can swing both ways, so whatever you pair with it will be fine. Marlowe, Avalon and Linnea are pretty perfect together, although Marlowe, Tatum and Skylar work well too!

I agree with Mak. Go with what you love and do not worry about the names matching. I think Marlowe, Avalon and Spencer would be super cute together. Or Marlowe, Avalon and Tatum. All of these match well in mu opinions. Best of luck!

Ah, I remember that struggle well. Congratulations on your babies! From one triplet mom to another, a bit of advice---take all the help that's offered! I went so far as to have a list of helpful things someone could do that I could pull out for those who said (and meant), "If there's anything I can do to help, let me know." As for names:

Marlowe &...
Linnel
Daphne
Renee
Colleen
Celeste
Iris
Juliet
Josie
Scarlett
Katniss
Patrice
Bridget
Shannon

Here are some trios I thought sounded good together:
Marlowe, Linnel, Colleen
Marlowe, Daphne, Iris
Marlowe, Juliet, Katniss or Marlowe, Scarlett, Katniss (literary)
Marlowe, Josie, Celeste

Do any of these appeal to you?

From the ones you said you liked, I love Cadence and Linnea. I also love Acacia and think it fits fine.
I think Haven or Waverly would fit nicely with Marlowe but I wouldn't use both of them.
Good luck!

I don't really want to put even more names in here, just my thoughts on matching names.
I really would avoid being too matchy. Having the same initials is super annoying and rhyming names are even worse, they make twins even less individual.
However, I would keep a similar style and length. If you choose a unisex name for one (and btw I absolutely love Marlowe!) I wouldn't choose super feminine names for the others. Or one unique name and super common names for the others (that's what I'm stuck with, I have a super uncommon name and my sister is Sarah...)

I like Marlowe paired with Emery, Charlie, Rory or Romy.
