Allison!
For a few reasons:
1.I believe Allison is the most common spelling and therefore the one most people are likely to get right saving you the headache of correcting people all the time.
2.If you consider the very similar names of Addison and Ellison they both have the double letter. So to me that just makes the double ll in Allison feel right.
3.Allison would be a good compromise. That way neither of you would feel you completely lost out while the other one got their favorite.

Alison is the original Scottish spelling. It's a variant of Alice. So the double L spelling, which only came into popular use in the 1980s with the U.S. sitcom "Kate and Allie," has never sat well with me. The nn Allie can still be used for Alison. We don't add an extra L onto Elizabeth to get Ellie. Plus, Alison is so streamlined and unfussy looking.
The Y in Alyson is equally perplexing to my nerdy self. Good luck! :0)
