Jane Elise is beautiful, snappy & I love that it doesn't need a nickname! I think it's leagues above Anne "Annie" Elizabeth. Congratulations on your baby girl!

I like Jane Elise or if it were Anna Elizabeth the I would choose that. Love Annie just not Anne.

I dislike Anne & Annie but I love Anna so that would make the choice a lot harder for me, think I'd still prefer Jane Elise because I just think it's a better combination as a whole.

Guys - Anna is NOT an option. These are the names. I just need a vote between the 2 or a comment on why you prefer one over the other. My name is Anne and I think it is much more regal and sophisticated. I actually despise the name Anna.

^^ I already voted for Jane Elise but I would go for that even more now as I think it would be impractical to share a name with your mother, I have my mum's first name as my middle name & that's enough, I think it's important to have your own identity. Jane is probably as similar to Anne as you can get so it's a perfect balance in my opinion.

Definitely Jane! Would be impractical to have two Annes in one house. And people might think you're self-centred for naming a child after yourself

Can Elise be considered as a first name ? Jane is extremely boring and plain. There is nothing that is catchy about this name . And Anne is plain also. Ainsley would be adorable
