Thoughts on the vs. name Autumn

I know one person with this name and it’s spelled differently. She likes it but feels that it’s a stripper name.

I personally feel that it fits into one of those name categories along with Summer, April, Diamond, Mercedes, Misty, Roxanne, that may be cute as a child but it’s just tacky and will not age well.

I think it’s far from a strippers name. Those names are like Jade/Jada ext.

Autumn is beautiful. I went to school with an Autumn she was a sweetheart and she loved her name. It was different and unique which we need now desperately. All of our baby’s are going to have the same name and none will stand out. Go for it I love Autumn! BTW Summer and April are not strippers names.

I love the name Autumn but only if the baby is born in the Autumn..

To the other poster, i dont see how Roxanne, April and Summer fit in the same category as Mercedes and Misty.

Actually weather, seasonal, and month names are the most popular stripper names. It was on the news.

Thanks for the feedback! My husband’s favorite name is Evelyn, mine is Autumn. I like Evelyn too, but I feel it is a little old-sounding. Also, I HATE nicknames, and I would want her to be called Evelyn, not Evie, Eve, Etc...So I really don’t know what to choose!

the older sounding names are unique and age really great. Though Evelyn has gained popularity and is growing very fast.

We have a middle name picked, but I don’t want to put it on here because I don’t want to pick her first name based solely on how well it flows with her middle name, since middle names are rarely used anyway. I wish I could decide!

We both like the name each other has chosen, and he said it was up to be since he has a boy name picked out so I get the final say on the girl’s name. I jus don’t know which one to pick. I am leaning toward Autumn though. And thank you Courtney!! Lily i the middle name, and Cadence was the third name that we just eliminated after months of debate haha! You listed many that we like!

oh! Autumn Lily is gorgeous and will age pretty well:) Evelyn Lily is nice to but the flow is off a bit. Both are gorgeous if you don’t want a nickname though I’d go Autumn there’s no nicknames:)

i like Evelyn better than Autumn but Autumn is better if you don’t want a middle name and it flows better with Lily, if he gets to choose the boy name then you should be able to use your fave for the girls name
