Definitely Franklin for a boy. On my Dad's side of the family they used the name Franklin a lot, always for a male, and they spelled it both ways.

Franklin is cool for a boy, BUT I WOULD FEEL SO SAD FOR A GIRL WHO HAD TO LIVE WITH THAT NAME!!! What about Fiona? Girls deserve girl names. Think if you would like to be called Franklin. Jenna is a pretty name, which may make you think outside of the box for girl names.

If you want the nickname to be Frankie maybe Francesca would work for a girl. I'm not a fan of Franklin/Franklyn on a girl. I'm usually a fan of unisex names. GL!

If you're in the U.S., just about any name can be used for a kid. Boy names for girls are nothing new.
Since you have a daughter named Everett, use Franklin. At least their names are spelled correctly.

I would change my name if it was Franklin. I'm sorry, I don't want to be rude, just thinking about the kid.

Guest is that relevant when it comes to a girl having to live with a name her whole life?

Mommy, I have a traditionally masculine first name and it has never been a problem for me throughout my twenty-something years. My parents admitted they were expecting a son and decided to give the name they picked.
It is not a big deal in this day and age, when people name their girls Elliott, James, Sean, Parker, Jude, etc. It's the norm. Who knows maybe be the trend will die in a few years?

I'm so happy my mother gave me a feminine name. Unisex names aren't my style but a strictly masculine name is awful for a girl.
But this is probably fake anyway. Good luck
