Unpopular opinion but I don't like Penelope at all. I find it ugly and I think Penny is a terrible nickname as well.

It's weird to hate such a beautiful, classic name. I've always loved Penelope. I think it's a lovely name, and the nickname Penny is great for a little girl and an adult.

Actually, Penelope has the Greek meaning of "weaver". And if you're a fan of The Odyssey, like me, Penelope was the wife of Odysseus

I think Penelope is cute and doesn't seem too long to me. You might also like Persephone, Posey, Phoebe, Piper, Pippa, or Pearl if you want a shorter P option.

I didn't like the name Penelope as much until I started watching Bridgerton, now that I'm used to hearing it, I love it!! Not a fan of using Penny as the nn but Nellie is super cute! Personally I would go with Penelope and call her by her full name the majority of the time.

I think there are 1000 better and prettier names than Penelope. I would never use this name for my child.
