Ines vs. Agnes
Different versions of the same name. Ines is delicate and pretty, but creates doubts on how to pronounce it. Agnes is classic and strong, but not a crowd pleaser. For us its really either one of them, so your vote would make a difference!

We thought of Ines. I would worry a lot in this country - there are about 5 ways to pronounce it:
EE-ness (rhymes with a body part so a bit of a problem in US)
ee-NESS
Ih-Ness
eye-ness
Ih-nez
Eye-nez (look up Hairspray)
I did a poll and the results were evenly split. We ultimately went another direction despite having a Hispanic background because I thought it unfair to set her up for a lifetime of corrections, and honestly didn't even know which way to choose ourselves since the authentic Spanish way is complicated here in the States.
I would strongly suggest Agnes if in an English-speaking country.
