Alex vs. Alexa vs. Alexandra
We love just Alex for her given name but are concerned she may want a fuller given name. We know that the Amazon devices are Alexa but we do really like that name. I did do some research and did notice Alexa is still in the top 230 names. But are also concerned with the possibility of a teasing issue. Can Alex or Alexa work or should we just go with Alexandra? Thanks.

I am an Alexandra who goes by Alex and has always gone by Alex. I also have a female friend whose given name is just Alex. She doesn't mind it. I don't think you can go wrong with either. FWIW, I hated my full name growing up as I thought it was fussy and sounded pretentious. I love it now, but I also still never go by Alexandra. I wouldn't go with Alexa due to the Amazon devices. I love Alexandra! Lexi! Allie! So many possibilities! It's my oldest's middle name (though to be fair, so are Robin and Rose)!
