Callaway vs. Calloway

We are considering this name for our son but we are not sure if it is too 'out there'. Either way, we do want to know what spelling to use! We are also open to other name ideas that are similar -- like Callahan which we are also considering! Thanks for the help.

Callahan is my favorite, then Calloway. Callaway kind of looks like you tried to make a mash-up of both names, and it just doesn't look right.

Callaway immediately made me think of the golf company as well but I believe they spell it with the A so I'd go for the Calloway spelling to help take away from that a tiny bit at least.
I still like Callahan much better than Calloway/Callaway no matter how it's spelled.

Agreed that Callaway immediately made me think of the golf company however Calloway does not at all even though it's the same name.
