I would say it uh-lee-sha, but tell me once and I will say it the other way. It's just that the "lee" way is more common so I would default there first. Alisha or Elisha would make sense for your desired pronunciation.

I mostly agree with the first poster. I would definitely not use Elisha, though. It's masculine and pronounced E-lie-sha.

Honestly, I would probably say uh-lih-sha because I know that Alicia is uh-lee-sha. The spelling makes me believe it's uh-lih-sha and I think Alisha is the best spelling for the pronunciation that you want. And I agree, Elisha is a whole different pronunciation not to mention that it is masculine.

Tell that to Elisha Cuthbert. And also Nameberry, etc. Depending where you live, people will see it as predominently one or the other, but it is definitely unisex and pronounced multiple eays.
