How about Angelisa as a compromise?

Angelica. You may end up going back to "square 1" if you both don't love the name. If it were just these two names that I had to choose from, it would be Angelica. Angelina reminds me of Angelina Jolie-not a fan--. In the end, other people's opinions do not matter, not even family. The only two people's opinions that actually should be taken in are the parents of the child. Not even siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and so on matter. They can of course voice their opinions, but the ultimate choice is the parents. Even if someone in the family or even good friends do not like the name, if you both love it, it's a go. The only thing I feel strongly about is that you BOTH have to LOVE the name, if not, I'd start fresh. There are literally millions of names out there that you can choose from. Good luck.

I voted for Angelica. Angelina makes me think of the "staten island dump" girl from the MTV show Jersey Shore years ago. This is just due to my age range though. I am sure most of the world does not have this association.
I do however love the name Angeline and if that were on the list that would be my first choice. Another option could be Angeliese. It is interesting that both of your first choice options are so similar. Makes me wonder if there is another variation of the name you may both like more.

I like Angelica better. It's spunkier to me and don't listen to the others on the poll saying it's more common than Angelina. They are both pretty rare. I like Angela too!

Angelica, i like the angelic association. angelina just sounds a bit whiny and nasal to me for some reason.
