Alternatives to vs. Violet Maeve
So we are expecting a girl in just a few weeks and decided on the name Violet Maeve. However when we told my mother the name last weekend we realized she would have trouble pronouncing it, as she has an Asian accent and can't pronounce the letter V. So when she says the name it sounds like Wiolet Maewe. Can you recommend some V-less names that would be easier for my Asian family to pronounce but that are also similar to the one we picked? We also really liked Ivy but alas it also have a V lol.

You could call her Violet and then just have your mother use Lettie as a nickname!

Love the idea of Violet with the nickname Lettie. Violet Mae? Or Juliette Mae?
