I wouldn't pronounce Bette and Betty the same. I am guessing from the other spelling you want bet-ee, so Betty.

I was going to agree with the first guest and say that Bette is pronounced as Bet as in Bette Midler. However, upon further research, I found Bette Davis who pronounces her name as Betty. That might be an issue in pronunciation though, so if you are intent on using Betty, I'd go with Betty. Just a suggestion, have you thought of using Elizabeth, and call her Betty for short? If not Betty Louise gmv. GL
