Amelia Grace vs. Grace Amelia

DH has three children from his previous marriage all of which have an E first name and an R middle name. We are expecting our first baby together which is a girl. I always wanted to name my first girl Emily, but I don't want to use an E name. I know that sounds bad and all but that was their (my DH and his ex-wife) trend. I was thinking Amelia would be a good "close to" variant of Emily. I do like the name Amelia a LOT, not as much as Emily but it's very close. I am well aware it is very popular too. Grace is another one that is dear to my heart. Which way sounds better?

Would you be open to using Emily as her middle name and finding something completely different for the first name? It sounds like you are really attached to the name Emily, but for understandable reasons you don't want to use it as her first name. Only you know if moving Emily to the middle name spot would feel satisfactory to you, but I think Grace Emily would be a nice name.

I know you are not huge on using an E name but what do you think of Emilia? This is my fav version of the names Amelia and Emily.
I like the suggestion above too of using Emily as her middle name or maybe even a double barreled first name like SueEmily.
Now that I am typing there was also a french movie I used to love who's name was Amelie ah-mah-lee. Love that!
