My name is Victoria and I've always loved how timeless and feminine it is, plus I have lots of options for nicknames (Tori is my fav—definitely more young sounding than Vicky). I met a woman named Vicky at a Christmas party this past December who told me her name was *just* Vicky and she hated that fact.

Anyone would feel cheated with only a nickname and not a formal name. It's not professional looking either.
