Fun! Baby Name Polls
Hone your baby naming skills and help others. Which baby names are best?
What are some boy and girl names that you seriously hate? Just curious. Thanks.
If you can fix my problem, you’re a genius. I am so picky about names and I can NOT find another name that goes with my current children. My girls are Ava and Aspen, and my boys are Bailor and Beau. I need suggestions for baby #5, for both genders. I can’t stand "traditional" style, supe common names, but I also cant stand "trendy" names. Before you tell me how common Ava is, I named her in 2008, 2 years before it shot up the charts. Thanks and good luck.
I’m Melissa and my husband is Shawn, and I am expecting! So we have our 25 top girl names, and the rules of the elimination poll are: you have to eliminate at least one name and you can bring back one name for every two names you eliminate. I’ll try to post revised versions of the list every two or three posts.
Please eliminate only ONE name at a time, and say why. Names are in the first comment. Thank you.
Hi everyone! So our baby girl is almost due and my husband and I can’t agree on a name...at all. He only likes common biblical names (Rachel, Sara, Hannah etc) and I well, do not. He seems to think that it is almost sinful to name our girl something that isn’t biblical. I have suggested less common biblical names like Selah, Shiloh, Cassia, Neriah.. but he only likes the common ones. I am getting really frustrated about it. Do you know of any uncommon biblical names that I haven’t tried yet? Pheobe, Naomi, and Delilah are also no goes.
Please tell me your top 5 boy names so i can get an idea on what to name my own boy :) thank you.
Hi I’m expecting another girl I have a daughter Alyssa(2) and i need help on the name! I really like double letters in the first names. Middle name suggestions will be taken as well.
My husband and I love the idea of giving our son a name from the bible. So in the first comment I will put a list of our favorite names. Please eliminate only one name at a time and also let me know what your favorite is with any middle names that you think sound good with that name. Thank you and have a nice day!
We have a daughter named Eleanor Indira, she affectionately goes by Nora. We are expecting our second and keeping the gender a surprise until our Gender reveal and we would like to reveal his or her name that day as well. We have a good handle on naming Little Ladies but naming a Little Sir has proven more difficult than we thought. We did want something historically based but we have decided to drop that as it was too stifling. We just want something quite vintage, maybe a tad long but masculine, that as someone brilliantly commented "is a name of a gentleman". Problem is, we aren’t sure of what to go with wholeheartedly as they all are different. So far we really love Michelangelo (despite the Ninja Turtle thing), Theodorian, Leandro, Anaxandrias, Constantine, and (yes, we are serious) Jupiter. Can we hear what you think of a few? Maybe give us some ratings or even suggestions? Thank you~ Mary Elisabeth and Leonardo
I like names like Merrit, Bailor, Thoreau, Pryor, and similar names. What do you think of Brayer?
What do you think? Like any, hate any? Would any age well? Would any not work well on a real little girl?
I’m pregnant with my first and it’s a boy. Please eliminate only one name.
