What are your favorite surname names? I'm looking for a middle name for a potential boy & girl and seem to like names in this category. Bonus Points if they are nature inspired.
We have two sons, Alexander and Nathaniel, 11 and 6 years old respectively, and we are expecting twin boys. We have been leaning strongly towards the names Victor and Gabriel, but we worry that they might not fit with our older sons' names, that are quite similar both in style and length. The other names on our shortlist were Ethan, Stefan, Leo, Leonard/o and Edward. What do you think of Victor and Gabriel with Alexander and Nathaniel? Do they look like two different pairings? Thank you for your help!
I've always placed Paige in the popular middle name category along with names such as Marie, Jane, May, etc but recently I've been quite liking it as first name. What are your thoughts?
Does November work as a full name for Ember? Ember is one of our top girl's names. Given that our last name has the same syllables as Ember, we'd prefer it only as a nickname.
Last name is Schuldiner (shul-dee-ner).
We are team green. I have a list for boys and a list for girls. I like longer names, but they don't really go with our surname. Regardless of whether it's a boy or girl, the middle name will be an honour name .
Please tell us which names you think sound the best with our surname.

Hi, I am naming my baby girl "my-ah", but have had such a hard time on figuring out the spelling. Off the bat, I dislike the "y" completely it looks trendy and Maya looks too similar to Mayan and Mayo (in my opinion), then Mya looks awkward, incomplete and like a mispelling. I do really like it spelt Maia, but most of all I would love it spelt Mia. To me, Mia being spelt m-i-a is very intuitive to saying "my-ah" though I understand Mia happens to be said as "mee-ah" which partially boggles my mind. Plus, people swap "y" for "i" all the time in other spellings and yet it doesn't make a difference then (think Lyla -- Lila or Lily -- Lili). I am perfectly fine with going with Maia though if spelling it Mia isn't a good idea and would cause too many problems. My parents are very much old school and upon sharing the name verbally with them they immediately spelt it Mia, though I corrected and explained how there maybe a very good chance it will have to be spelt Maia instead, so to just add an extra "a" after the "m" - which didn't make sense to them at all. Anyways, would it be a good or bad idea to spell "my-ah" as Mia instead of Maia? Or it doesnt matter either way? Thanks!
I'm in desperate need of middle names for my twins Sierra and Maia. They came 6 weeks early and we're going to be leaving the hospital soon and they need middle names for paperwork. I was considering Sierra Lily and Maia Dove. I also like Sierra Novalee and Maia Rayelle.
Pick a combo you like for our BG twins then suggest middle names for that set. Siblings are Adelyn Brooke(10), Leilani Gracen(9), Sawyer Callahan(5) Sutton Maddox(5), Cierra Olive(2), and Maicee Monroe(1)
Can the name Clover be used for a male dog?
We've been waiting to bring home our wiener dog puppy, we are so excited and thought we were getting a girl! We had her name put on a tag and a bowl and everything out today we found out we would instead be getting a boy. Is clover an acceptable name for a boy?
