my husband’s favorite name is Malcolm but I don’t like any of the nn options. I’m in love with the nn Kit but don’t really like Christopher. We have a german surname-- is Christoph to pretentious? Fritz may be our runner-up name if you don’t have any other suggestions.
Hi everyone! I’m stuck on these three first names at the moment. I’m pretty sure I’ll use one of them but I can’t decide which I like best with middle name Ray. Ray is definitely going to stay. Suggestions welcome, please no mean comments. Due in November. Thanks!
Phoebe as a first name for a girl and why or why not? We would like a biblical name to go with our sons Jonah and Eli. Something familiar but not overly common.
Do you think Phoebe will:
Stand the test of time?
Sound like an "old lady" name at some point?
Likely be mispronounced?
Likely be misspelled?
Made fun of for some reason?
Which one do you like best? NO mixing and matching please
Which one sounds best with our last name? Names stay as they are. Thank you!
Which sounds better for a boy?
Little girl! vs. Ika
We have three kids named Olive Imogen, Cameron Ludlow and Emery Sean. We decided to try for number four, hoping for a boy, and we got that... and a girl! We are very excited to add two more to our family but we need some help with middle names. We have decided on Fleur and Ezra. We have three choices for Ezra and two for Fleur. Thanks everyone.
Ok, so I love boys names on girls and alternate spellings for names(As long as their not too crazy. Like I like Rylie instead of Riley.) I know a lot of people who feel very differently from me and I just wanted to know if these names are really all that horrible. Are there any names of this type that you do like? Which names do you suggest that people should stay away from. Thanks for your time.
I am not Spanish but my husband is and I happened across this name when looking at variants of names I’m familiar with. Guillermo is a Spanish variant of William. I actually much prefer this version. The only thing that concerns me (a little but not too much) is pronunciation. The gee is like the beginning of the word geese, in case your were wondering. Right now, I’m asking whether this is an appropriate name for a child with a dual heritage and will probably (hopefully) be bilingual. Thank you for any help
