My husband and I are expecting our 2nd child and our first girl. For girls we really like the somewhat uncommon names (not in the top 50ish) but also want it to go with our son Oliver which is very popular.

My partner and I want to give our child a travel-themed name and we really like Atlas. We don't know the gender yet - is Atlas suitable for either gender or is it more masculine/feminine?

We are divided on these three names for our son. His middle name is Michael; Daniel is the last name.

Does Blair/Blaire work for a boy? I LOVE Blair/Blaire for a boys name, but I know its gotten kind of popular for a girl. I don't know if its true, but I feel like recently I've met a lot more boys with unisex names than girls, so Blair/Blaire seems like it might be alright. I also like Blaine, which is definitely way more masculine. What do you all think?

Name change issue: My ten year old son, currently Ronald, hates his name that was not my choice to give him, but his biological dad that has not been his father since giving up his rights while Ronald Jr was a toddler. Now my son is officially being adopted by my husband of three years and is over the moon at getting a new last name (Ross is the new surname after adoption) to match his new baby brother's and who he considers his 'real' dad, and is begging to change his first name. Of the names he likes ... Well Drake or Shane are the only ones I find not terrible ... he's keeping Mitchell in the middle because he says he doesn't mind it so much.
