I am expecting a baby boy, but my husband and I can’t think of a single name we both like! I know we’re being picky, but we have certain criteria we want a name to meet: 1) not too common, 2) not too trendy/in the top ten, 3) not too unique/hard to spell or pronounce, 4) has a good meaning. It seems like any name that meets all our requirements just isn’t quite right. Any suggestions? Maybe we’ll hear something new! Thanks in advance!
I very recently found out that I am pregnant with my first child. Since it is so early, I thought a great way to look at a wide variety of names would be to simply ask people what they decided to name their children. If you would like to share what your kids names are or possibly other names you considered, I would love to hear them!
last name pronounced "more-a-lyn"
We also 3 little boys and 1 little girl
Jasper Rhett & Sawyer Mason (twins,7)
Lillian Elaine (4)
Beau Bradley (1)
Suggestions are welcome as we are not set on any specific name. We love sweet and feminine names for out daughters and strong masculine names for our sons.
Twin girls. Georgia is definite. How do you like Georgia and Penelope together? They are our two favorite names. If you don’t care for Penelope, what would be a good name with sister Georgia?
Our favorites are Arlo Pheonix and Elliot Oliver but we just thought of the name Easton too! Please feel free to mix and match. We are adopting another boy in June and we were brainstorming some names. All of our children have been adopted and we are thrilled to be adding another baby to the family. Older siblings are: Raylynn Cheyenne-18, Joseph(Joey) Patrick-14, Wyatt Morgan-13, Fayth(Faye) Lauren-9, Ross Robert-8, Charlotte(Charleigh) Marianna-5, and Hudson Jay-Fisher -2
Wondering if an L middle name is too much. I’m open to suggestions. It doesn’t have to be nature themed. Thanks!
Hi there! I am not a mother, but my sister Kristen is and my nephew Jayce is going to be 2 very soon. She very recently discovered that her second child is going to be another boy and she has asked me to help her come up with some names since her husband is serving in the army currently. I want to come up with a large list to go over with her of names that would sound really nice with Jayce. If it helps anyone, there is a very good chance he will have beautiful red hair. I appreciate any help from you wonderful mothers out there! Thanks!
Middle name ideas for Elaine please!
Hello there. As you read from my title, I have had my mind set for a very long time that I would name my first son Colin (one meaning is cub, which is extremely important for me). Of course, the man I fell in love with happens to have the last name Hall, and we have sadly agreed that Colin Hall just doesn`t have the right flow for us. If anyone has any suggestions, maybe a name that is similar or has a similar meaning (bear or cub), I would really appreciate the suggestions!
Thank you all.
Repost from earlier having narrowed down the list. Other options still in first comment. Having a daughter and we are stuck! We have a list but no idea which we like best. Please tell us which you like. Middle name will either be Erin, Rae, Lynn, Logan, or Renee. Names are in first comment. Matt and Andrea
What are your thoughts on the name Rayna for a girl? Also what about it paired with the middle name James. We know that the main character from Nashville is Rayna James and we live in Nashville so would that be weird? We really our in love with the name Rayna though.
