I’m really loving the name Elowen for a girl, my partner doesn’t love it but is considering it. I want to know what you think about the name? Any negative connotations? And which nickname do you prefer; Ellie, Lo or Wennie?

The names will be in the comments, these are our favorites at the moment. He or she will be due in february! She/He is our first, so we want the name to be perfect! Middle name suggestions are welcome.

I hope the poll works without names in the slots. What do you think of the name Arlet for a baby girl? Please vote if you think it’s cute, eh, or not cute. It’s pronounce are-let, not like are-lit. The ending is similar to the ending of the name Juliet. I hope that makes sense! But I want an uncommon, not super girly name, that is also good in Spanish and I think Arlet is it. My baby’s father really doesn’t like it, so I want to see what others think. -Lupe

I love the irish girl name Saoirse (pronounced seer-sha), but the only problem is that where I live that spelling is not even an option. So, I would either need to choose a different spelling (Searsha, Siersha, etc.) or skip it all together. I love the sound of the name, so although I’m not a fan of changing the traditional spellings, as long as the name still sounds just as beautiful then I’m ok with that. What do you think??

Don’t know the gender, so trying to come up with options for both. I’ll post the lists in the first comment. Other suggestions welcomed as well. Thanks for the help!

Do you like the name Dawn for a girl? I always thought it was really pretty but I haven’t heard anyone under the age of 60 named Dawn. Do you think it’d be a problem?
