Hello. I would like to start considering some names for our baby. We need names for both genders but a lot of names seem overdone or we keep hearing the same styles of names and we would like something which feels fresh to us. Any ideas for us? Thank you~ Ben and Carrie

Hubby and I like unisex or "typically male" names for our little girl, due in November. Beckett is my favorite and Emery is his favorite. Avery was our top name until we realized it is very close to my niece’s name, Aubrey, who our baby will be around quite often. I don’t want it to get confusing, especially for my much older grandparents who have a hard enough time remembering MY name, much less two great granddaughters named Aubrey and Avery, born within 6 months of each other. So we would love some suggestions along the lines of Avery, Emery, and Beckett. Something a little more uncommon so there aren’t 5 of the same named kid in her class, but also something that doesn’t sound made up. Thank you so much in advance!! Oh, ps if it helps her middle name will either be Claire or Mae (family names).

Hey! I love the name Madelena for a girl, it means "from the tower" in Hebrew. My husband doesn’t like the two e’s so close to each other, so he offered some variations: Madalena and Madelyna. I don’t like both of them because Madalena lacks Madelena’s grace and Madelyna is made up, but he is completely set on them! Which one do you like the best? And what is your opinion on these names? Thank you :)

We’re expecting our first! If it’s a boy, he will be Mason Patrick but we’re not sure for a girl. My wife, Prue, loves Gabriella Marie, Samantha Clare, Caitlin Jane & Sonya Olivia. I’d like to honour my sister Sarah who passed away but I’m not sure how well it fits with some of my other favourites Matilda, Ruby, Madeleine & Charlotte! Should we use it? Or would it be better to use her middle name Catherine? Neither of us hate the other’s choices but we’re stuck! Feel free to rearrange anything and thanks in advance!! (Those in the poll are just examples :) ) Thanks Alex & Prue

What are your opinions on the name Annabelle? My husband and I have a very short last name, and we like the name Anna but we think she should have a longer name. What do you think? Is it too childish? Will it age well?

Our daughter’s Camille Rebecca (7), Annika Lucille and Ellery Charlotte (3) are going to be big sisters to a little boy due in December. He needs a name along with two middle names (tradition in family). Suggestions? Thank you. Molly and Daniel
