I know that Kai is usually spelled with a K, but what do you think about spelling it as Cai? I’m really struggling with names and would appreciate your input!
We are expecting a set of boy and girl twins very soon. We have a son in kindergarten named Sam (Not Samuel, just Sam. But we do call him Sammy a lot.) Please pick one name from each of our lists and comment with the names. Thanks!
We got our list cut down a little yesterday, but we’ve still got quite a few names. Which one of the names in the comments do you like best to go with Mina Adeline? Please don’t alter the combinations!
What are your thoughts on these names for a boy? This isn’t an elimination poll; Just trying to get opinions on names. If you had to choose one for your son, which would you choose? What would you pair for a middle name with your chosen name from the list? Thanks
We want to call our first daughter Mia but we feel it works best as a nickname with our incredibly short surname (Day). The only full name that we can think of for Mia is Amelia which we can not use as we have a niece with the name. Mia will be joining three big brothers named Elliott Asher (8), Dominic Samuel (7), Tobias William (3)! Many thanks from the Day Family!
Down to our last three, well actually 4, choices for Rider’s twin brother. As previously mentioned, we will be using R names for all our children, not just the twins. We are fine with Rider and River being one letter different because the I’s make different sounds. We will decide between Ridley and Radley later if it comes to that. Open to middle names, and we want them to be as different as they can be! Thanks, Ron and Rachel. By the way, rude and sarcastic comments will not be acknowledged. If you are looking for drama, look somewhere else! :)
I love then name Eden for a girl. However, it feels a little too masculine. Is it just me? If you want to suggest names, I like ones that are easy to spell and maybe a little uncommon. Some that I DON’T like are Hazel, Molly, Allison, Isabella, Addison and Caitlin.
I want to name my daughter Ian Isobel. I have always wanted a son named Ian but this is my last baby and it’s a girl! Would it be weird to call her Ian? And I just think Isobel sounds so pretty with it. Do you think it’s too strange?
Which names are your favorite? Which are your least favorite? List in comments.
Please help! We are at odds over the first name for a baby girl. We agree on the middle name James (family name). I love Alijah - seems different but pretty and I like the idea of the nickname AJ. Hubby prefers Evelyn which I think sounds too old fashioned. Help! Suggestions are welcome :)
Other names we like but aren’t sure about...
These may not be your choice of names but please pick which u prefer
We’re Irish and living here in Ireland. We learn ’Gaeilge’ Irish from a very young age and although we don’t speak it on a day to day basis (in most areas of the country) we can, so pronunciation & spelling will not be an issue at all :) I’ll put our list of top choices in the comments below. It would be great if you could choose your top 3 and bottom 3! Go raibh míle maith agat (Thanks a lot) - Conor & Lisa.
