I’ve recently fallen in love with the name Madeline but my husband has vetoed it. He went to school with many Madeline/Madelyn/Madeleine’s and we used to have a mutual friend named Madeline (Maddie) and he says that he can’t get past the not-so-great associations. I can respect his feelings however I just can’t seem to find anything else I love nearly as much! Can you give a few suggestions I can share with my husband that I may like based on Madeline? I just feel as though it’s elegant and classy and girly but not too frilly. Thanks for your help! ~Shanna
Please help suggest names! The first person will say their favorite name that starts with an a. The next person will say their fave b name, so on and so forth. Gender is unknown so suggest boy and girl names. Thanks for helping me find a name! - Amber
After your votes and suggestions earlier, we’ve listed our favourites that we can really see ourselves naming our final little girl. She’ll be joining her sisters Chloe, Lucy, Alice & Tess. Thanks alot everyone, and please don’t offer any suggestions, these are final. Names will be in first comment, tell us your ONE FAVOURITE name. Only one please!
Hi! I’m expecting a baby girl soon and I love Johnnie Rose but DH not so much. We don’t really have a style and would love suggestions. Will be joining Noah (16), Michaela (14), and Joshua (10). Thanks!
My husband and I are having our first child together and we are stuck on names. We will put a list of our favorite names in the first comment. Eliminate only one name, please. Thank you!
Hello there! My husband and I are extremely picky about names which is causing some big problems. We’re having such a hard time and really hope you all can help us. Our last name ends with -Y and we can’t stand any name that ends in the same -EE sound so we do not want any name that ends with that sound. We have decided on Tina as a middle name, and we can’t stand any name that ends with -A when we say them together. So we’re looking for a NON-unisex name that does not end with -A or the -EE sound. Some names we like, but obviously won’t be using, are Amelia, Ivy, Lydia, Ana, Audrey, and Lilia. I hope that all made sense, sorry about the length! Thank you SO much!
Hi! I’m having twin girls,, but I can’t think of any good names. I’m sure you all have favorite names, so, let me ask you: what’s your top 5 favorite girl names? You guys will probably have great favorite names, so I trust you and your judgement!!! -Tessa
I’m expecting my second child and second little boy in September. My older son is named Colton James and my husband and I would really like to name our next son Cole Ryan but we are worried that Cole may be too similar to Colton. Please let us know what you think! Thanks! The Carters
We need the perfect name for Geni’s little sister who is due very soon! We love classic names that can be shortened with cute nicknames. We call Genevieve Geni, Gen and Vivi. Names that cannot be used are Caroline, Penelope, Alexandra and Charlotte. Thanks! Cara, Dave and Geni
We have four beautiful daughters who are called (in age order) Chloe, Lucy, Alice & Tess. We need to find the perfect name for our fifth daughter and likely last child. We want a name that is very British sounding and is fairly short, like her sisters (preferably no longer than 6 letters), and sounds good with our other girl’s names. Names we like for her right now are Hayley, Cleo, Ruby and Lottie. Please let me know which of these you think fits best for what we’re looking for, or if a certain name pops into your mind when you hear our other girls names feel free to suggest it. Thanks alot!
Hi! I love the nickname Annie but can’t decide on a formal version of the name and I know I want one. If you could give me any suggestions on a name for a girl I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
My husband and I have a wonderful three year old son named Jonah Daniel. We are currently expecting another baby boy in September! We are finally trying to find a name for him and it’s been a lot harder than expected, we picked Jonah’s name is five minutes! The only names that we both love and agree on all start with a J (Jasper, Julian, & Jude) and we don’t want to have any kind of pattern or theme with our kids names. Starting with the same letter is a big no no for us! Can you help us find a boy name that is not super common, but is recognizable, easy to spell/pronounce, and doesn’t start with a J? We could really use the help, thanks!
