Hi there! We are over the moon to be expecting our second child, but we seem to be having difficulties finding a first name we are in love with. We have a daughter named Penelope, who has many nicknames she is called. My husband and I would really love to find another name that gives us a lot of nickname options like P’s does. Do you have any suggestions for both sexes? So far we like Alessandra for a girl but have nothing for a boy. Thanks! -Kat & Joe

My fiancé and I are expecting our first child and are waiting until birth to find out what we are having. We are both from California and are avid surfers. We’d love our son or daughter to have a surfer/ hipster type name or something that seems very Californian. We’d also be open to water type names as well.

Posted last night but didn’t as much response as we were hoping for. We have 3 kids already, 14 year old twins Brielle Marie and Hannah Elizabeth and 11 year old Dylan Thomas. Our fourth child, another daughter, was a complete surprise. We like Penelope June but aren’t certain it’s the one for her. So we want other ideas. Names we DISLIKE include Natalie, Camille, Iris, Amelia, Jade, Sophia, Aaliyah, Jessica, Olivia, Cambria, Chloe, and Annabelle. We don’t want another name starting eith B, H, or D for the first name and no names ending with ELLE please because of Brielle(yes we know Penelope has the ELLE sound in it but it isn’t the ending). We also DON’T want any unisex names at all(not even Lauren, Meredith, Claire/Clare, etc.). Please leave some suggestions. Thanks again. ~Jocelyn and Dustin

I really don’t like trendy names such as Eleanor Charlotte Nora Clara Scarlett Audrey Aubrey Kinsley Aria or any boy names on girls!( no offense to anyone with these names). I’ve asked for suggestions before but all i ever get are these names. So what are some names that aren’t trendy? I tend to like names that have a medievel vibe. I like Elizabeth, Victoria, and Amelia but want more ideas. Thanks so much- Kat

Hi so I am expecting a girl and want to give her a name in which she most likely won’t share with any of her classmates. I always enjoyed that I was the only Simone in my class or the only Simone a person had ever met, and I want her name to be of similar taste. Also if it is a name you can imagine on a strong willed, sassy girl/women that would be great!. Thanks -Simone

Hey! We are due with a little baby in December. The gender is not known. We have a little girl, Lucy (3). Please help us to find the best name by ranking our favourites in your order of preference. The names will be in the first comment. Thanks a million, Ava&Tom

We decided we wanted a very subtle theme for our triplets (don’t know genders) so we decided to use four letters for all of their names as it seems many of the names we liked had four letters. We compiled a fairly long list that will be in the first comment. We would love to know your favorite combo for each possibility (GGG, BBB, BBG, and GGB). We would also love some middle name suggestions with your combos. Thanks so much!

What do you think of Mason and Theo(just Theo, we dislike Theodore) as first names for our twin boys? We don’t care if they are super popular names because we’ve never met any boys personally with either name. Do they fit well with older brother Ryder Cole? Middle name suggestions would be appreciated if you like them. But if you dislike them, we aren’t really open to changing them, we just want outside opinions so please state your opinion but refrain from suggesting other first names. Thanks. ~Becca

What is the dumbest girl name you ever heard in person? I think it has to be Cooper for me! Cooper is a boy name!
