I posted this morning about the name Wilber for my son. And didn’t get a lot of positive feedback. So I wanted to post again with a different crowd possibly. I realize it is pretty vintage and the pig in Charlotte’s Webb is called Wilbur. But how bad is it really? I had one comment that said "Horrible name. Please do not do this to your son." Is this name really that bad? I absolutely love it. And I don’t think they even teach kids about the Charlotte’s Webb book anymore so I don’t think kids his age will make the connection to the pig. But with so many people saying it’s a bad name I’m torn. I don’t want my son to hate me and that’s basically what everyone is acting like will happen if I name him Wilber. I was thinking his full name would be either Wilber Elliot or Wilber Clayton. I can’t use either one Elliot or Clayton as first names and I really want Wilber as his first name if I use it. And I don’t like Wilmer or Wilfred. Wilberforce interests me but I think it may be a little over the top. Please help me. ~Jenna

We would appreciate if you eliminated just one name and please don’t suggest anymore names! These are our favorites and we are trying to narrow down! I will put our names in the comments! Thank you so much for your help

Hey! We posted once before but hoping for a little more help. We are expecting twin girls and have a small list that we like from our other poll but would like opinions on them and possibly some other suggestions. The names will be in the first comment, let us know what you like the best! We are open to other ideas as well and we have two sons named Gerard Milo and Caspar Eli. Thanks!

Hello, we are expecting a little girl! Besides knowing we want another classic name with a more fun nickname, we haven’t a clue what to name her. Do you have any suggestions? Also we need middle name advice: we want to honor my mother, Grace, but our last name is Greyson and "First name" Grace Greyson seems silly to us. Any ideas? Thank you!

We have a bit of a problem. We want to use the name Albert for our son. It was my great grandfathers name and would loved to use it. His nickname will be Albie. The only problem is, is that our other kids names are Holland (Hollie), Larkin (Lark), Liberty (Libby), Prairie (Perry), and Ezrie (Ezzie). We don’t think that Albert fits with our daughters names at all, but we really want to use it! Is there any advice? Can we still use the name? Thanks!

We are expecting our first little princess in May and would like to incorporate the name Mae as her nickname not just because it is the month she’ll be born but because it is also my grandmother’s first name. We would like some help coming up with a longer name for her full first name as we are stuck. We have considered Maelle but we’re not set on it and would like to explore others ideas as well. She’ll be joining big brothers Logan Matthew 6 and Bennett Oliver 3. Her middle name will be either Lily or Elizabeth. Thanks! ~Jill

There’s a girl name I love but I like an alternate spelling for it. The name is relatively uncommon (near 500 in 2015) and it’s probably unheard of where I live. The original spelling is fine, but I like mine more and I like that my spelling would honor. I don’t think the original spelling is all that intuitive, especially in my community where we don’t have a lot of diversity in names, so she’d probably be spelling it constantly no matter how it’s spelled. I’m wondering if you think it’s okay for me to use my favorite spelling for the name. Thank you for your comments

We are expecting our first child and she’s a girl. We were so sure we were getting a boy and had a boy name picked out and were shocked when we found out at our 20 week ultrasound we are having a girl. We are excited however but can’t seem to come up with any names! We both like classic and some of the more trendier names so we thought we could give her a classic more traditional first name with a more trendier middle. We would love to hear some suggestions! Our surname starts with an E and ends with an R. Thanks! ~L&W

Hello, my husband and I are expecting our first child! We are keeping the sex of the baby a surprise so we’re looking for suggestions for both a boy and a girl. We tend to lean more towards classic names but haven’t found that balance between classic and not too common/popular. For example, we love Henry for a boy but it seems like it’s popping up everywhere now and for a girl we really love Veda, but our last name is Noah and Veda Noah doesn’t flow well. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

Another little girl will be joining our family of four very shortly. She joins sister’s Shiloh (7) and Arwen (4). We have been on the hunt for another name that we love, but we’re stumped. I personally love untraditional girl names (kind of tomyboyish but not too boyish), but my husband loves boy names on girls, particularly Sterling. I already got him to compromise on our older two girls, but I would feel bad if I made him go with another name that isn’t his favorite. He said Sterling could be her middle name if I don’t want them as first names. What should we do? I’d prefer to stay clear of S and A names if possible and I’m okay using Sterling as her middle name if my husband still loves her first name too. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you! ~Haley and Matt
