Fun! Baby Name Polls
Hone your baby naming skills and help others. Which baby names are best?
Having a girl. The first person will say their favorite name that starts with an a. The next person will say their fave b name, so on and so forth. Thanks for helping me find a name!
For some new inspiration (which we are sorely lacking after tons of back and forth naming ideas) we thought it would help to hear names that others feel are similar in sound and style. We want something fairly vintage and underused. Please comment for either a boy, girl, or both. For example, if one poster comments the name Melisande, the next poster may feel Mehitabel or Lysander is similar, the next may comment Lionel or Lavender, and so on. We would like to start with Araminta and Dorian. I hope others are inspired too. Tysm!!! ~
Hi! My name is Carrie, and I am pregnant with my 6th (wow) child(a boy)! I used this site to help name my last daughter, and I saw elimination games and I decided to use one now! Please eliminate one name and if you really want to bring back one. My other kids are Luke Nathaniel, Cassidy Mae, Charlotte Lillian, Sawyer Edison, and Ava Sophie. Thank you- Carrie, Nate, Luke, Cassy, Charley, Sawyer, Ava and baby Allistair(< last name)
I have a medium-sized list of first names (22) for my baby girl due August 31st. Please eliminate only 1 name, and a maximum of 3 names can come back (if it’s eliminated the 2nd time, it’s completely gone). Her middle name is still undecided (between 3 names). Names in first comment. Thank you all in advance! ~Tara Lynn
We need a middle name for Chapin (CHAY-PIN). Nothing long please as our last name is really long. No mean comments please.
Hi there! We’re expecting a baby girl and I’m looking for some help with her name. I’ve been in love with the name Lorelei for a while now; however due to a family member on my husband’s side and some other associations we are unable to use it. Do you have any suggestions of names that are similar in style to Lorelei? We cannot use Lori, Laura, or Lauren so please do not suggest those. Thanks!
Hello all! We just can’t seem to settle on a name for her! I do have a list of names my husband and I have come up with and I would love your help narrowing it down. Thanks! -Kate and Brian
Gender unknown so need boy and girl name suggestions. First comment will be your favorite A name, second comment will be your favorite B name and so on. Thanks!
Coming up with boy names was easy. Girl names, not so much. I like really girly and feminine names, but the hubby loves boy names on girls. As a compromise, he suggested using a hyphenated first name containing a feminine and a boy name. It’s not my favourite option, but at least we both get our way and our daughter would have choices as she ages. His top two are Blake and Logan. No, we don’t like Blakely. Plus suggest really girly names to match with Blake and Logan to create a double first name.
I am looking for a name that’s girly, and maybe has a slight winter-theme to it. I have a small list of names, which are in the first comment.
We like Journey and Mia but aren’t in love with them. We liked Emily but not the flow of Emily Maloley. Emma is kinda starting to grow on us but there are so many little girls with the name and so many still being named Emma that we are afraid she is going to meet at least 5 other Emma’s when she goes to school. Can anyone suggest other first names to go with my boyfriend’s last name Maloley pronounced Ma-low-lee? Opinions on Journey, Mia or Emma? Sorry for another long post. Thanks! ~Camryn & Nate
So I have a list of girls names in the first comment, and I would really like if you could please help me eliminate them! Please eliminate 3 and bring back 1. I’ll keep the list updated. Thank you!
