We have a really long list of names for our daughter, with all kinds of styles. This is our first baby. Please eliminate one or two names. You may bring back names as well. Thanks in advance!

We would love to get our list down to 1 name. You can eliminate one name and bring a name back, also give a middle name suggestion for your favorite. Thanks

We have a long list of names for our son due in November. It would be really helpful if you eliminated 1 name at a time. Thanks, Emily & Jared

Hey there! Baby girl is due soon and we now have to start over on her name. We originally had chosen Lila however a very good friend of my husband’s recently had a little girl and they named her Lyla. We had never considered any other names and now we’re lost. Can you please suggest some names that are similar in style to Lila? But nothing that sounds too close to Lila (such as Layla or Lia). We need the name to be at least 2 syllables since our last name is only 1. Thank you! ~John & Sarah

I’m expecting my first child, a little girl due in December. My husband and I are considering the name Jane after my grandma but we worry it may be to plain and boring as a first name. If you vote no, would you give us some name suggestions to go with middle name Frances (Frances is family name on my husband’s side)? Surname is Cooper. Thanks! Jillian

If you can fix my problem, you’re a genius. I am so picky about names and I can NOT find another name that goes with my current children. My girls are Ava and Aspen, and my boys are Bailor and Beau. I need suggestions for baby #5, for both genders. I can’t stand "traditional" style, supe common names, but I also cant stand "trendy" names. Before you tell me how common Ava is, I named her in 2008, 2 years before it shot up the charts. Thanks and good luck. #hardtoplease

I’m Melissa and my husband is Shawn, and I am expecting! So we have our 25 top girl names, and the rules of the elimination poll are: you have to eliminate at least one name and you can bring back one name for every two names you eliminate. I’ll try to post revised versions of the list every two or three posts.

Landon, Kenna, Sadie, Brinley, and Gracie are having another little sister coming at the beginning of January. We are seriously struggling to find the perfect name for our daughter. For other other daughters the name has came very easily and we’re extremely stuck! We want something sweet, classic and girly that will go well with her older siblings. We would really appreciate suggestions! Thanks! -Julie and Austin

Hi everyone! So our baby girl is almost due and my husband and I can’t agree on a name...at all. He only likes common biblical names (Rachel, Sara, Hannah etc) and I well, do not. He seems to think that it is almost sinful to name our girl something that isn’t biblical. I have suggested less common biblical names like Selah, Shiloh, Cassia, Neriah.. but he only likes the common ones. I am getting really frustrated about it. Do you know of any uncommon biblical names that I haven’t tried yet? Pheobe, Naomi, and Delilah are also no goes.

We love the way the name Nevaeh sounds but aren’t so in love with the fact it’s heaven spelt backwards. So what do you think of the spelling Nevaia? And we know it means heaven spelt backwards but that doesn’t bother us. We also don’t like the hatred people have of the ’heaven spelt backwards’ part, so we want to know what you guys think - do you like the name and the sound of it with the different spelling? Thanks so much! - Lucy, Ben, Emilia Anabel (7), Noah Oliver (5), Maia (MY-uh) Sophie (2) and baby girl
