I really want to honor my father by giving my daughter a middle name that resembles Richard or is obviously the name is after him. His middle name is Norman and I don’t want to use Norma or anything. The first name isn’t set yet either

My first daughter is Lillian. We call her L, Lil and Lilly for short. We are considering Lucy for a sibling name. While I like Lucy it just sounds so babyish, childish and incomplete sounding to me with Lillian. I’ve tried to look at longer Lucy names and dislike all of them. I don’t mind letting Lucy go. So vote yes if it’s not good with Lillian. No if it is good.

I did a poll yesterday, but would like more input! Big brother is Jack Nathaniel. I want a name that is classic and we would love as much as our son’s name. Please help us decide!

So my husband and I thought we found the perfect name for our baby girl: Moana (mo-ahna), we think it’s adorable with cute nn possibilities and we like the meaning: Ocean/sea, however upon googling it we’ve found out it’s going to be the name of the next Disney princess! We were wondering whether it’d be ok to use it before the film is actually made (our baby’s due in 4 weeks), and before the name becomes popular/recognisable? Wdyt? Is it ok? I know people name there kids Ariel & Aurora etc but Moana is slightly more unusual so.. Please help! Opinions needed! Her siblings are Misha Adelaide, Agnes Avia & Reuben Levi!

Hi, I’m looking for suggestions for literary names. I have a list, but I’d like to add to it. The kind of name I’m looking for comes from a classic book (so no Harry Potter or too modern books) and isn’t too obviously tied to that specific book (so no Heathcliff or Ophelia). Children’s books are ok, too, as long as they’re older, like Winnie the Pooh era. Thanks!

Are there any REAL unisex names? Like something that developed in two different places, independent of one another (for example, boys were given the name in California and girls in Florida) and when they met in the middle at some point then they started to mix? I don’t mean names like Riley or Ashley or Bailey because I KNOW those started as boys names and somebody decided to use it on a girl so it became "unisex". Are there any actual, real unisex names? Thanks!
