What’s the general consensus about the name Lawrence/Laurence? Thinking of using it as a middle name but I have never known anyone with that name (which is kinda good, I guess). Do people like this name? Does it remind them of anything or sound too dated? Thanks everyone!!

I love classic names-Olivia, Anna, Amelia, Audrey...nothing too trendy or cutesy. My top 2 were Olivia or Amelia and several people have commented its too similar to Ava (her 2yo sis). What suggestions do u have to go with Ava Sophia?

I want to name my son Martin nn Marty. It is customary in my family to have double middle names so I’ve picked Samuel (after my brother, Sam) and Adrian (my mom’s middle name is Adrienne and my best friend/Marty’s godfather is named Adrian). At first, I was stuck between Martin Samuel Adrian and Martin Adrian Samuel but then I realized that his initials (and first name) would be SAM if I ordered them Samuel Adrian Martin. I also like the flow better in this option. I’m just not sure about him going by his second middle name. Thoughts? These three names are not changing.

We are expecting our second daughter to go with big sister Liv Annabelle. We want short and spunky names with longer more classic middle names. The kind of first names we like are these: (but we can’t use them) Lia, Lola, Lucie. Please help! Thanks!

We want to name our daughter after a fictional character (film or literature) who is a good role model for girls. After much brainstorming we finally have a list of names! Pick your 5 favorites and say what characteristics come to mind when you think of that character, and would you want your daughter to be like them? Also please tell us which names are not so easily connected to the character. We know some of them are unusual (there’s always the middle name, lol) but that’s fine. Thank you very much for your help!
