My husband and I are pregnant with our first, a baby girl. We would love to keep her name short and sweet since our last name (Anderson) can be a mouthful. We love the names Grace, Anne and Isla but are looking for some more suggestions. Thank you so much!

Hey. I’m welcoming an unexpected second child, and I’m ecstatic. I’ve always dreamed about a sibling for my son. His name is Lucas Patrick, but I call him Luke. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for his little brother’s name. Times are stressful, and I’ve had a lot more to worry about than a name, so I’m trying not to be as picky as I normally am about baby names. I need first and middle name suggestions. I’m just looking for something relatively normal. I don’t really care about popularity, trendiness, etc. Thanks for your help! ~C

Top 10 names are in the first comment. Please help! Baby girl on the way!! We have a son River(5) and a son Tucker(he past away he was 1 day old) After loosing Tucker due to being 4 months early, we wanted River to have a sibling. Now it’s a girl! Please pick out your top 3 names and tell me what ones you would choose and get rid of. Thanks a lot! PS: no rude or hurtful comments Thanks!

I’m expecting identical twin girls. One’s name will be Piper. I was thinking for baby B maybe: Iris (front runner, want nickname ideas though), Hazel, (both because I’m an artist, Iris means colorful, hazel is a color), Marley, Emersyn (might be too close to younger cousin Emery though), Tatum, Kennedy (close second to Iris), Riley, and Willow (kind of reminds me of childhood neighbor’s dog though). If you have any suggestions of first names and middle names that would be greatly appreciated. No P names for baby girl B and no switching of Initials like Piper Isabella and Iris Penelope (Although those are great names, I don’t like that naming style for twins. To me it’s like giving them the same initials in their first names like Piper and Peyton). No Ruby suggestions for girl B’s first name. Can’t use it. Would like middle names to either be: unisex, a variation of Elizabeth, or contain Ann in it somewhere (Elizabeth and Ann are both family middle names, don’t want Piper Elizabeth/Ann and ___ Ann/Elizabeth). Thanks from Mommy, Pip, and baby girl B.

We are thinking of using Andris for our baby girl due in May. It’s my mother’s maiden name (spelled Andrus) and she passed away from cancer 3 years ago. We would call her Andi as a nickname. What do you think? Should we use it as a first name or middle? We’ve also considered Everly Andris. Thanks!

Ok, so from our last poll we were able to narrow down our girls’ names to these few. And, please don’t suggest nn or anything because these names are final. Also, when commenting which name you like please don’t use the nicknames as names, they’re only nicknames.

Hi, I made a poll earlier for these New York inspired names: * Stuyvesant: sty vess ent and *Wythe: why-th. (Meaning- From the willow tree) Suggestions are appreciated, but outright calling me crazy for liking these names are a bit much. Thanks again, Ivy and Gabe.

Hi, I have a list of names that I’ll post. I would love suggestions as well. If you suggest a name, please make it only girls names. I long ago vowed never to give my daughter a boys name. I’m also not really a fan of frilly names like Daisy or Bitsy. Please tell me which one(s) you like the best and which one(s) the least and why. Thanks!

My husband and I just adore Wren for our daughter. She needs a middle name, what do you think?

I’m a dad! My beautiful girl showed up yesterday. 6lbs even, 17 inches. She has a curly brown mohawk. My wife and I have decided to call her Thea, but we would like a full first name for her. We don’t like Theadora. We would like her first name to be sweet and uncommon. If you think of anything, please suggest in the comments. If you need to mash a few names together to ’invent’ a name, that works, too. Thanks! - Joel, Claire, & Thea
