We like names that are on the short side, one or two syllables and no more than 5 letters. It can’t be popular but it also can’t be a made up name/spelling. Can you help us?

Hello to all of you mothers and mothers to be. My name is Jane and I very recently found out that I am expecting for the first time. I am beginning on the hunt for baby names and I would like your help. I would like to know what your top 3 boy and girl names are as I am just trying to expose myself to many different names to figure out what I really like. Thanks for your cooperation and help!

Hello! Our fourth child, a little lady, is on her way! Her siblings were much easier to name. Son #1 is a junior, Nathaniel Jack. Son #2 got a name honouring hubbys AF team and favorite player, Thomas Fox. And our first daughters name honours both our mothers, Elizabeth Margot. Now we are out of ideas, with three children that have different circle of friends we came along a lot of names and often led us to dislike one of our former favorites. We’d love something fresh and new, does not have to be a classic like her siblings. But please no boy-name-turned-girl-name and no unisex name! No occupational or word name, please, and nothing that is heard everywhere. Got any ideas? Thanks! - Emily
We’re trying to find a really boyish name for our little girl. So far we like Mason, Sparrow, Shepherd and Memphis.
I have a list of names that needs to be narrowed down to about three-four names. The list will be in the first comment. I like "hipster" names in addition to classic names, but don’t like anything misspelled or too "out there". If you could perhaps tell me what you think of each name, list your top three, list them in order from favorite to least favorite-Just anything-that’d be much appreciated. 💙
What do you think of the name Eric? We love it, but our family says it’s just okay. My side of the family wants us to use Noah and my MIL keeps bringing up the name Jonathan. Neither of them are our style. We like that’s it’s not too popular, trendy, or long. Is Eric a bad name? Please tell us what you think. And also which sounds better, Eric Sebastian or Eric Julian?
