We’re having our third child - a girl - and we are pretty much settled on a name, but I would like to hear opinions about her name and if it goes well with her sister’s names... Emma is #1, Lily is #2 and Anya is the girl we are expecting... Wdyt? Thank you!

Hubby and I love the name Joss but we are having a disagreement about which gender it suits best. What do you think, boy or girl?

So we have chosen the name Clara for our baby girl. However we need a middle name. DH wants her to have his mothers middle name which is Ann, but I’m not sure Clara sounds good with such a short middle name. Should we use Ann or one of these names with Ann in it? Siblings are Maxwell James and Rose Elizabeth.

Hi! I am having a bit of trouble with my mother-in-law (MIL). I’ll try to sum it up briefly, but bare with me! Basically, I am English, and my husband is Italian, and we have decided to raise our children in England. I am pregnant with twins (B/G) and my MIL is being very difficult when it comes to choosing names; she wants ’true italian names’ for her grandchildren, whereas we don’t mind having a hint of ’italian-ness’ but ultimately would prefer to have something more common in London. I think I have come up with a solution, but I would like an outsider’s opinion. What do you think of Gigliola & Alfonzo nn Lily & Alfie. My husband told me that Gigliola is basically the Italian version of Lily, and means ’as beautiful as a lily’. Do you think the nicknames are too different from the original? I do like having the classical english nicknames with their italian heritage. Middle names will be Catherine (after my mother who passed away) and we haven’t decided on a boy’s name. Thanks!
