Really wanted Charlotte (after my husband Charles) but my sister in law used it. Wondering if it’s OK to use it as a middle name?
My husband has 2 children from his first marriage, Lyla Rae (8) and Audrey Lee (7). We are due with our sweet baby boy in May and have chosen the name George Atticus; George being after my husband and his father. Do you think all the names go well together? Thanks!
I have always loved Harry Potter and would love to incorporate it into my child’s name. Could you suggest some subtle/not so subtle girl and boy names? Thank you!
I posted a few months ago but still haven’t decided anything. I’ve been going through the process of being an egg donor for a family. The family has asked me to help them name the babies (learned they were twins soon after I posed here) either by giving them a list a names I like or by choosing the middle name. While I’m honored they asked me, part of our agreement includes me not being in the children’s lives. I’m cautious to offer names because I won’t be in the children’s lives and I want the parents to know that the children truly are theirs. At the same time, I’m honored they would ask me to help. I’ve considered telling them names I like on their list as a compromise. I want the parents to know that these are not my children and naming them seems to make that area more grey. Please keep your responses honest but respectful, I’d love more perspectives!
We’re looking for first names for our daughter. We have agreed that her middle name will be Denton but we need help finding something girly but that will age well. SME of the names on our list are: Grace, Maisie, Edith, Ethel (yes, we are seriously considering this name after a family member who we dearly miss), Piper, Pippa, and Katy. Obviously we are asking for other suggestions and opinions. Thanks for all of the help! Shanna
Hello! Me and my husband have been discussing the name for our daughter due in June and we can’t find ANY we can agree on! He likes long old names like Elizabeth Dorthey Agatha Nancy and Judith all of which I hate and I like short modern unisex names like Quinn Ace Ray Tess and Nan
Any suggestions on how to bring both ours naming style together for one name?
These were three of my favorite names growing up, and I love that they aren’t as popular right now as they were when I was a kid! Which do you prefer? Middle name ideas are welcome:) thanks!
Mix & match too! We like all these names and can’t seem to choose. So If you could tell us which names you like - or even which names you think fit together, that would be great. Thank you! Ella & George
We are down to our final 3 names which is still a little crazy considering he is now 3 days old. Please help us pick from this last list! Thanks!!!
If you said no, please suggest other similar names that you think would be better! Thanks for your time! -Tess
Which names are best for twin boys? Nickname for Daniel is Dan, Nickname for Lucas is Luc, Nickname for Nicholas is Nic, and Nickname for Zachary is Zac. Any middle name suggestions?
So I have a bit of a weird request...I suffer from OCD. With OCD I have anxiety, panic attacks, etc. So I am adopting a dog from a shelter and training it as a service dog for me. I am aware that this is a baby name site, and do help others first, but I could use some name suggestions. Don’t know if I will be adopting a male or female puppy/dog so I need both boy and girl names. Thanks so much! - Mikaela
