Hi, my husband Emiliano and I are expecting our first child, a girl, in May! My mother’s name is Emily, and we are very tempted to name our daughter either Emily or Emma because it would honor both my husband and my mother, in addition to the fact that we like both names. The thing is, we also believe that children should have their own identity and not try to live up to another. But this is such a great opportunity to honor both people that we aren’t sure we want to pass it up. Therefore, we are conflicted. Any advice? Thanks- Olivia and Emiliano

Hi, I’m expecting B/G twins and am wondering what you think of these names? Arnav and Tiana are Indian to represent my heritage (My name’s Tejal) and their middle names are Trystyn and Awen are Welsh to represent my husband’s heritage (he’s called Owen). So please let me know what you think! Thanks a lot x

Hi, my hubby and I are Irish American so we want to give our B/B/G triplets Irish names. However, we’ve only got our little girl’s name of Aideen Rose and are struggling with boys names. We like names like Kian (key-in), Killian (Kill-e-an), Darcy, Lorcan etc. Please help!

We are currently expecting a baby, our first and only child. We want to give her a first name that we love, but we also want to honour all the people that are most important to us with her middle names: my mum, my grandma, and my husbands mother. Is three middle names too much? The name we are thinking of is Demetria Sigrid Rose Eloise Cole (surname). What do you think? Can you think of a way around our dilemma? TIA.

My grandmother just passed away when we were 5 weeks pregnant! We are now 7 months along! We don’t want to find out the gender so we need variations for both boys and girls. My grandmothers name was Judith so we want something like that. My other kids are all named after relatives: Kaylin Ann (my grandma Kay) Lara Maisie (my mother Laura) Ricki Paige (my grandpa Richard) and Léa Skye (my grandpa Lee) We would like to keep the tradition!

I really love the name Colden. Since, it\’s uncommon, i just wanted some other opinions on the name, but i love this name. Thank you! Oh, and side note, i don\’t like the names Holden or Colton, so no way we\’re using that.

Hello everyone I know I’m about to break a few egos and maybe even a few hearts but I am completely in love with the name Kyle for my baby girl okay so I first heard this name when I was watching a show and Paris Hilton’s aunt was on it and her name is Kyle and I also was babysitting a little girl and her older sister’s name was Kyle and I honestly don’t think the name Kyles masculine I’m sorry for any Kyles out there but honestly can you imagine a 40-year-old man named Kyle I just don’t see it does not sound not masculine at all to me I do apologize because I know I’m going to get heat for this but honestly Kyle sound a lot more feminine to me and I think it’s one of those breakout names better that start happening for girls example McKenzie Taylor Ashley and Morgan. Am I completely nuts or am I starting to make sense please hear me out on this I really think this is a really nice name for my little girl. ---Olivia
