Hey, Iris here. I’m currently 7 months pregnant with a girl. I absolutely LOVE the name Mackenzie, but my husband says it’s too "white" (we’re hispanic). Wdyt in your opinion? Thank you and God bless -Iris

This is more of an etiquette question. We would like to name our son Carter, after my grandfather. The thing is, we are wondering if we should discuss using the name with my grandfather before announcing it. It is a tradition in my family to keep the baby’s name secret until it is born, so we don’t want to ruin the surprise, but at the same time we aren’t sure if we should ask him about it first. I know this isn’t really what this site is for, but we could use some opinions, and we can’t ask anyone we know since we want to keep the name secret! Thanks in advance for your help! ~Hailey and Chris

I’m due with my second child but first girl, We’re looking for a unique and exciting(nothing to common please) first name to go with the middle name Elle (please no names that begin with E or L). We have one son already and his name is Harvey Beck (4). Thank you! -Renee, Tucker, Harvey, and Baby :)

We are looking for a classic/old-fashioned/non-trendy name for our daughter. We really like the name Maggie but still not completely set on it. Could you please give us some ideas and what do you think about Maggie? Thank you in advance! D and M

Hi! I’m totally stuck and my baby is due in under a month. I know I’ve left it a while but the last few months haven’t been easy! My husband and I split up and will soon be filing for a divorce (adultery on his part. And on top of that I feel bad about even being pregnant, as my elder sister (shes 34, im 26) has being trying nearly nine years for a child! If you could give me really long lists of both boy and girl names that would be fantastic (gender is a suprise)! Also I really need to know is it even normal I feel guilty towards my sister? I love that I am going to have a child, but on the other hand heartbroken she ia struggling ao much! Thank you - Natalie

What do you think of the name Dixie for a little girl? We love it, but my mother hates it and thinks she would be bullied terribly.

Hello, we are still debating on calling our little girl Georgia but we don’t know what middle name to use. We quite like Mae but still unsure! What names do you think flow with Georgia Owen? Do you like the name,

My husband likes the name Xavier (X-ay-vee-ear) and I thought Orion would be a different (but not too weird) middle name option. But hubby doesn’t like it. Any ideas for a middle name that is different but not weird? I’d like it to have a decent meaning too.

We completely love this name but is a little bit too cutesy? We’re considering Rosie too. Louise, Thomas and Evelyn (3) from England. Thank you.

I have three daughters, twins Darcey and Lacey, 5, and Hollie, 2, and I’m having another girl. I want the name to end in an -ee sound like her sisters. I love Lucy but that’s far too similar to Lacey. Any suggestions?
