Thanks to a lot of great help we have chosen the double first name Josias(Joe sigh iss) Alfred for our son to go with his sister Anna Marina. We are currently stuck on his nickname which can either be Jude, Juda, Osias, Shia, Alfie, Oz/Ozzie, or Alpha. Which do you think is the coolest for a nickname? His sister will go by Mina or Marni mainly. Other than the nickname we would just love to hear any feedback about the name itself or how they go together. Thanks again~Zena

Hey everyone! I’m in love with the name Rhys for our boy and for once, it actually flows with our surname. However, there are language barriers, which it making it very difficult. I thought maybe, then, we could use it as a nickname for something else. Do you have any suggestions? Anything all, it can be the biggest stretch (we’re all for unusual and ’nonsense’ nicknames). The only name I have in mind is River, but hubby doesn’t like the idea of word names so much. Please help? And thank you!

Hello, my husband and I have already put up a poll and a few people helped us out. We are expecting our third child. We have twins Matthew Liam Frederick and Sophie Marie Claire (3). We love the name Adrian, we just need help with middle names. On our last poll, people suggested a family name witch is funny, I will explain why in the first comment below. We have a list of names now so they will be there also. Please help us out. Thank you very much. Olivia, Vincent, Matthew, Sophie and baby boy!

My grandmother is called Joan and I would really like to use Joni as a full name for my daughter. Plus, it has the Joni Mitchell connection for me too! My friend said she found it quite tacky. What do you think? Thank you~ Evie

What do you think of the name? We thought we had the name set but we find ourselves drifting toward Maverick. We like it because it’s close to his dad’s middle name Merrick. So what do you think of Maverick? Rebel? Top Gun?

This is more of an etiquette question. We would like to name our son Carter, after my grandfather. The thing is, we are wondering if we should discuss using the name with my grandfather before announcing it. It is a tradition in my family to keep the baby’s name secret until it is born, so we don’t want to ruin the surprise, but at the same time we aren’t sure if we should ask him about it first. I know this isn’t really what this site is for, but we could use some opinions, and we can’t ask anyone we know since we want to keep the name secret! Thanks in advance for your help! ~Hailey and Chris
