My hubby and I both have very different naming traditions that we both want to honour. We’re expecting a girl. In his, all the children (male or female) are given the father’s name as the middle name, so his name is Jay. In mine, the first born child gets their maternal grandparents’ middle name so Diana. We both have tradition of giving the child a new, unused name so Tejal, a Hindu name meaning ’radiant, glowing’. Our surname is Harkness-Tailor. So how do we use both our traditions without ending up with Tejal Jay Diana Harkness Tailor? Thanks in advance! Jackie

We are expecting our second little girl in a few months and we want her name to be as light and preppy as the name of her sister Summer Camille (4). I’ll post a list of names we like in the first comment and we’d love some feedback! Tell me your top 3, bottom 3, do’s and don’ts and don’t be afraid to suggest some more names! I apologize for the length, but you guys are just really good at giving suggestions ;) Thanks a lot! x

What is the most unusual boy middle name that you would use with a usual first name? I’m trying to get ideas.

DH has a girl from a previous relationship named Maya Grace (13) and we have 2 kids together already: Jamie Belle (5) and Blair Julia (2). We are expecting a boy in June! We currently like the names Levi and Tate, but we’d like some more suggestions for first names and maybe a few mn suggestions. Thank you!

Twin boys Duncan and Donald need middle names! Or should we just give them first names? We’re starting to consider the idea, but we’re not sure. Thank you for all your help!
