I am expecting a baby girl in June. My younger brother Clay was killed in Iraq last year and I would like to name my daughter after him. His full name was Clayton James. I was thinking something like Claia, Claya, Clayree, Claicy. What do you think? Any ideas? Thanks- Carrie and Joshua

Does this work okay? We are big Trail Blazer fans and want to add that in some way. Just wanted some feed back! Thanks!

Summer is a name we both love! And Marie sticks as it is both of our mothers middle names!

We really love Ziva (NCIS!) for our little girl’s first name, but middle names really have us stumped - we like names with a Hebrew origin but also those that "just sound good" with a unique name like Ziva. Let us know what you think of our choices. If you have any other middle name ideas we would certianly be open to those as well. Thank you for your help!

Help! My DH and I are headbutting on names and there’s only a month until our little angel is due to arrive! This is our first baby girl and my DH is dead-set on naming her after his mother, whose name is Maude Elizabeth. We can’t use Elizabeth as we already have a niece named Elizabeth, so if we choose to honor my MIL, we would have to go with Maude. Personally I detest the name (no offence meant to any Maudes out there!) and I want to name the baby Blythe Lisette. I figured it would be a compromise as Lisette is a variation of Elizabeth, but my hubby still won’t back down. Could you suggest some ways to get him to see sense? Or maybe other variations of Maude Elizabeth/Blythe Lisette? It would be such a great help. We already have a son named Quinn Matthew. Thanks!

Does is bother you that the name Violet sounds so much like the word violent? Do you immediately think of the word violent when you hear the name Violet? I fell in love with the name Violet and was planning on naming my daughter Violet Sarah (Sarah is a family name) but someone recently pointed out to me that Violet is so close in sound to violent. Should I reconsider my name choice, or is it not a problem? Could there be any possible bullying from this name down the road? Thanks so much! ♥
