Husband likes these two names for our baby girl. Which would you pick out of the two? I just don’t know? Thanks for your help!

Just out of curiosity, do you, your children or someone you know have a story, special meaning, or specific reason behind your/their name? I have one daughter at the moment (she’s due in March) and her name is going to be Abigail Rose becuase when I told my husband that I was pregnant, he was sooooo excited that he ran up and down the block shouting to the whole neighborhood he was going to be a daddy (it took us 6 years to get pregnant). When we found out that Abigail means "Father’s joy", it reminded me of his reaction and we fell in love with it. Rose is my middle name. So that is where our daughter’s name comes from. What about you all? Please share if you know a story behind a specific name. Thanks, Beth

My husband loves the name Malcolm for our son. His name would be Malcolm Alexander L___ (3 syllables, ends in long E sound). I’m on the fence because I think Malcolm’s kind of a nerdy name. Yes, I know there are some great men with this name (DH constantly reminds me that Malcolm X was NOT nerdy), but I’m not sold. So, what are your thoughts? Thanks!

We’d like to give our daughter a sort of vintage-feeling name, and these are our top 3. Which one do you like best? Middle name suggestions are welcome!

We got the first name. Trying for a good sounding middle name. She is due in June, but if she comes as early as May we possibly like that as a middle name. What do you think?!?!

I made a poll for our son a bit ago, but I loved almost every middle name suggestion that was given. Both my husband and I are like that - there are very few names that we actually dislike. It took us forever to come down to Joshua, Micah and Ethan as our favorite names for his first name. We’ve got a month left (he’s due March 4). How do you decide on a middle name - are there other things to consider when it isn’t the first name? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you, Heather Fields (Aaron, Krista Ranae 9 & Amanda Nicole "Amy" 6).

We got the first name. Trying to find a good middle name. Due date is June 16th. If by chance she comes as early as May we put "May" in there. What do you think?!?!
