Hi everyone! We’ve got a long list of names for our daughter and we need help narrowing it down. We’re really into 70s/80s style names, but we like a few other names too. Please eliminate one name each and tell us why you eliminated it. Thanks!

Hi. My husband and I are two very stubborn people. Attempting to name our first child has been... a challenge. My favorite name is Eleanor, and his is Naomi. And we absolutely couldn’t agree on whose name had to be the middle. But then my husband had an idea, and I was wondering what you thought of it. Her full name would be Naomi Eleanor, but we would always call her Nell, as a combo of the 2 names. I like it because Nell is a nn for Eleanor. Is this crazy?

Do you like Lara? I think it would be a nice alternative to Laura and Lauren. I was also considering Larissa. Please suggest middle names! Thanks.

Hi, Im having twin girls. Twin one has been named already, Kalyn Grace. I would like her sister to have an uncommon K name too. Also middle name suggestions are needed too. Please dont suggest Olivia they have an older brother Wyatt Oliver and Olivia is too close. Also no K, G, W, or O names. ~Thanks! Allison & Isaac

Hello, me and my wife, Hettie, have a bit of a dilemma. Our fifth child is due soon, August, and we are really struggling for names. Our first child is Magdalena- 12 and our second is Leonardo- 6. Both have four syllables. Our third and fourth children are Carrisa -3 and Mialene- 2. They both have three syllables. Now for our fifth child, a boy, we are really stuck on two or three syllable names. The name we both really like is Declan. But as you can see that is only two. Any suggestions regarding syllables and names? Thank you ~ Thomas, Hettie, Lena, Leo, Caris, Mia and baby boy

I’ve always loved this name but my cousin has a daughter named Evie. She lives far away and we very rarely see each other but they’ll still be related so is it too close? Our second choice is Matilda/Tilly. We probably wouldn’t use a nickname with Evelyn. Thanks
