I am pregnant with my second child. I have a little girl Mckenzie Jayne (3). Naming her was easy. It was between that and Ava and at the time Ava was to popular for us. But we can’t seem to agree on a name we both like this time around. We do have a list of boy and girl names since we don’t know what we are having. I will leave the list of names we like in the first comment. We also are taking suggestions on middle names for a girl. We have a middle name for a boy, which will be Richard after my grandfather. Thank you!

What do you think of the name Quin for a girl? Does it rhyme too much with our last name. If you don’t like it do you have any other suggestions?

I like this name because it mixes 2 names I like Aubry and Elle. I can use nickname Elle or Aubrie (and not get accused of a spelling mistake). I also like it because it takes a unisex name and makes it pretty and feminine. Do you like the name or does it seem like we are stringing together too many sounds? You have seen this here where someone tries too hard to put multiple names together and it doesn’t work!! Any middle name suggestions?

My husband’s family has the tradition of using the father’s 1st name as a mn for the 1st born son and the mother’s 1st name as the mn for the 1st born daughter, that is why the middle name is Victoria and it’s staying. I know Emma Victoria is kind-of repeating the "uh" sound and that Emma Jane is kind of ’boring’ but I really love it. Abigail would be called ’Abby’ about 98% of the time (I’m one of those parents who only uses their child’s full name when they’re in trouble). Our other child is 3 year old Jordan Samuel. Other family members are Samuel James(my husband), Scott Michael(Sam’s brother), Shane Christopher(Sam’s brother), Lisa SandraLee(Sam’s mother), Mary Jennifer(Sam’s aunt), Robert Joseph(Sam’s uncle), Elizabeth Mary(Sam’s cousin) and Hannah Ashley(Sam’s cousin/my best friend). Sorry for the long post, just thought knowing the family’s names might help the decision. Thankyou - Sam, Vicki, Jay and Emma/Abby.

NN’s--Ellie or Tallie or Julie. Thanks for comments on my other poll. These were the top three. Which one would work the best with Alyssa Gabrielle (Lyssi) and Jacob Alexander (Jake). Thanks.

Declan. vs Dillon (Dylan). Neither Oliver nor James would be used as the 1st name. He’s already here and way too cute. We had already picked one of these names out but are still unsure (how can a person be sure!!?? lol) I think Dylan suffers from being So popular in the 90s (90210). And Now it’s become a trend to use it for girls. Declan. suffers from being unusual here (people like it, But can’t figure out how to say it when They see it written down. e.g. DeCLAN.). Dylan: too 90s? Too many girls with the name? Too likely to have an unfortunate nickname? Declan : too hard for people to pronounce? Too harsh sounding?
