I was looking at a list of Native American girl’s names (because that is some of my heritage) and I came across the name Genesee. It’s Iroquois (my specific tribe) for "Beautiful Valley". I think it’s very pretty! It’s not as much of a mouthful as other Native American names can be, it sounds more modern, but it’s still beautiful and has it’s roots in nature. What do you guys think of this name, for a girl? Would it be more suitable as a fn or mn? What names do you think it would be good paired with?
I need first names! I like all these, but I still want to make the list longer. The middle name will be Azure. Also, the name Rowan means "red-headed" or "red" and Azure means blue...is this too weird?
I want to name my daughter LEE-NA, but I don’t know which spelling is best. Middle names would also be very appreciated. Thank you!
What do you think of the name Amiya for a girl? Thanks!
Hello, our daughter, Meghan Catherine, passed away a couple years ago (she was 6) and now that we are pregnant again with a girl we were thinking of the middle name Meghan for our second daughter just to honor our baby girl. Is this a good idea?
Our other children are: Adam Wyatt (13), Joshua Anthony (10), & Collin Zachary (5)
Other suggestions are welcome as well as first names for Meghan. Thank you! -Allyson, Anthony, Adam, Josh, Collin and baby.
We are to be the parents of boy/girl twins. We are the parents of three girls, Daisy Claire, Lilly Grace, and Ruby Charlotte and one boy, Sam William. These are the two names we have come up with. Please tell us what you think, Taylor and Richard.
Hello everybody, I am looking for names for a baby girl. I am interested in names that are sophisticated-sounding. I like names like Victoria, Madeleine, Sophia, Cecilia, names like those that are very classic. Does anybody here like names like those as well, and wouldn’t mind naming some of their favorite fn/mn combinations for sophisticated names? Thanks!!
What are some of your favorite D names? I’m not pregnant, but I do have a son named Dexter and my family has a tradition of having the children’s names all start with the same letter, so D is ours and we need ideas for future children. I know a ton of D names already, but I want your favorites, to get some names I hadn’t thought of before and to see what kind of names everyone liked.
These are all family names, but which is better? Also, I need middle names. I like creative, exotic names to go with these formal names. You can mix and match, the names don’t have to be first names. Thanks!
Having my 2nd BABY GIRL!!!! I have narrowed down the names to these three. Her Big sister’s name is Gracie Mae and we want a nice sweet name that would go nice with that. (the grandmas are both named Mary) Thank you!!
