I didn’t realize how many girls are given masculine names these days until I started looking for a name for my baby. Has this been happening for a long time? I have a feeling that in a few years when all of these kids grow up and get married...couples names are going to be for example, Hayden and Logan or Kayden and Jayden or Blake and Dylan. We will think two boys are getting married. Is this just a trend or will all names become unisex in the future? What is your prediction? I am not bothered by this but I think its rather interesting. I had my daughter 13 years ago and I named her Samantha but she has always insisted on going by Sam. Had I named her just Sam she would probably hate to be called that. I’m just glad her name looks like a girl on paper so there is never any confusion. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Hi, I’m really stuck between these names!! This is our first child and we dont know the sex. We are stuck between Natalie, Hannah, Leah, or Linzi/Lynsey/Lynsi. (NO SPELLING CHANGES!!) We have picked out Jacob nn Jake for a boy. But we really dont like that spelling, any different spellings? Thanks Amber, Craig, and baby.
