We have a family tradition: have our daughters’ names end in the letter a. (Thank god we don’t have any boys!) Well, another baby girl is on the way and we’re stuck on names. Which of these do you like? P.S. our other daughters’ names are: Claira Elaine (16), Virginia Sky (14), Noa Ellington (my maiden name, 9), Livia Clarke (7), and Kaya Jasmine (4). Oh, and the name will not begin with C, V, N, L, or K.

My husband loves the name Jordyn for a girl. I think it is too common and is a bit boyish. He loves common names and i go for the uncommon ones. Rae is a middle name we both love even though it is rather common in the area we live in. So I’m asking for suggestions on normal sounding names that aren’t overused? thanks! -Trish

Thank you to all the help earlier decididing how to spell Erica..I always liked the C in it... for a special reason... My husband doesn’t know if it’s fair to do this but I thought it was really cute and not unfair at all... I wanted Erica because my parents names are Eleanor&Richard and my husbands parents are Isabelle&Christpher and our last name is Adams...both sets of parents are very sick and won’t be around for Erica growing up... I got the name Erica from the letters of their names...when I figured it out I was happy because it’s a normal name but not very common...My husband changed it to EriKa because he wanted our daughter to feel like we chose her name for her and not after anyone...I disagreed... Thoughts? comments? all feedback is greatly appreciated and welcomed!
