Would it be weird if I name my son Declan when my brother has a son whos name is Declan.
We are expecting twins in August! We have decided that we want the genders to be a suprise so we are going to post names for boys and girls and we’ll ask you all which names you think would sound good together. For girls we like: Kristin Vanessa (nn Krissie), Brenna/Brynna Morgan (nn Brynn), Caroline Marie (nn Carly or Carrie), Emily Hazel, Erin Charlotte, Kaitlyn Vanessa (Kaitie), Madelyn Hazel (Maddie), Natalie Anne, Gracelyn Anne (Grace), Sydney Lynne, Sarah Marie, Leah/Leigha Charlotte and Peyton Jessica (or Jessica Peyton). If we have a girl or girls the mn must be one of these listed as they are family names. For boys we like: Bradyn Garrett (Brady), Jonathan Garrett (probably Nathan), Greyson Charles, Cameron Charles, Noah Garrison, Caden Garrett, Seth Garrison, Caleb Charles, Brandon Charles, Nicolas Garrett and Trevor Garrison. If we have a boy or boys we will def use Garrett/Garrison and Charles as the mns for my father and great grandfather. They will have an older brother named Christopher Allen (Chris, 8) and an older sister named Alison Louise (Ali, 5). Sorry for the long poll. Thanks, Jamie, Jody, Chris & Ali Altizer

Hi everyone! I have a question for everyone. I absolutely LOVE the name Carly and really want to name my child-to-be Carly, but I have one dilemma- my cousin’s name is Carley. I don’t see her that often-only at Easter and Christmas and I want to spell it without the "e". I don’t want Carly to be a nn, I just want Carly. What do you think? Yes or no to using Carly? Thanks so much in advance!
