My Grandmother’s name was Opal. She was a prominent figure in my life, and I want to name my first daughter after her. However the name Opal is a little outdated, so I need to think of an alternative. I want a more modern version, it doesn’t have to sound the same necesarily but still has to have the same meaning of a sparkly, colorful person, like an Opal stone. I’m completely stuck on names, and don’t want to just use Opal as a middle name. Thanks everyone for the help. ~Christy

WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP! So, we have 4 active little boys and now we are having a baby girl. Finally! My husband, the boys, and I are so excited for their arrival. My sons names are Zachary Charles (7) Matthew Gregory (7) Brendan Kenneth (4) and Stephen Joseph (2) We like classic, but not stuffy names with nice, pretty middle names. Our last name is Thomas. We really like Hope as a middle name, but we think it might be too plan by itself, but we also think that for example... Abigail Charlotte Hope Thomas... is way too long! Opinions and thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Anthony, Madelyn, Zachary, Matthew, Brendan, and Stephen Thomas
