Both are pronounced lee-za. We're leaning toward Leza because we're worried someone will pronounce Liza as lie-za. Leza/Liza is set and so is Yelan. Thank you.

Big brothers are Stellan Emrys and Dawsey Wynn. Big sister is Estee Nora.

Which name do you like best?

Despite the spelling Anya winning on our poll yesterday, we've decided to go with the Serbian spelling of her name. We're tied between these two middle names for her(rather than using her father's name). Thank you.

I want to name my baby girl Derisha, but I'm white. My black friend said, and I quote, "That is a very ghetto name. You're too white to use that name, you're literally ginger! Don't appropriate black culture." Now, I'm feeling afraid about using this name, because I don't want to offend anyone. Is it appropriating black culture if I use this name? I heard it early in my pregnancy and thought it was the most beautiful name ever. I pronounce it as "Deh-ree-shuh," I love how it writes, I love how it is unique. Though, I really don't want to cause any harm with my daughter's name. My friend suggested the name Alisha instead, which I also like, but it just isn't the same. Please, reassure me or tell me that I'm wrong.
